Job Interview Etiquette

Remember the 3 Ms of Job Interview Etiquette

Posted by Liz Taylor Sep 23, 2016

1) Mirror the interviewer- Dress like you have their job, copy their body language, posture, pace and tone of voice if appropriate (unless they talk so slow where they would notice you mocking them).

2) Master a strong first impression: Be 5 minutes early, greet the interviewer with a genuine smile, confident eye contact and a firm handshake. Invest in a polished leather portfolio, pen, business card holder case and crisp resume. Remember to trim and manicure your nails, wear an appropriate haircut and style for your age and make sure your suit is clean and lint free.

3) Maximize your chance of getting hired by asking intelligent questions after the interview, following up and most importantly, writing a handwritten thank you letter.
